Important Dates

  • Submit your design (1 per contestant): January 22 – February 9, 2024
  • LAST DAY to submit a design – no exceptions February 9, 2024
  • Announcement of contest winner (on BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters Facebook Page, Grade groups and Parent Square): Around February 15, 2024
  • Spring Merchandise Sale Window Opens: Late-February, 2024

How to Submit

Submit Online

  • Complete the submission form, including student & parent’s information, artwork and consent to contest rules, on BASISNEBoosters.org/design-contest/ by February 9, 2024 11:59 pm Central Time.
  • Design file must be in high resolution and to be submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file

Submit In-Person

  • Drop off your artwork and the completed entry form in a sealed envelope titled “T-shirt Design Contest“ at front office.
  • Design must be received by end of business day on February 9, 2024.
  • Artwork should be on a blank paper sized at least 8.5″ x 11″ (letter size), free of wrinkles and easy to read.

Eligibility/Entry

There is no entry fee to submit a design. All entrants must be currently enrolled at BASIS San Antonio Northeast campus. Only one (1) design submission per person are allowed. Your design must be submitted by a parent or guardian on your behalf. You must agree to all the rules and agreements listed on the right.

Rules and Guidelines

  1.  All designs must be original creations of the contestant, and encompassing BASIS San Antonio Northeast brand. Submissions must not have been previously published and must not contain profanity, trademarks, other organization’s logos, or any copyrighted works of any other person or business.
  2. Design must be submitted online or in-person by February 9, 2024 11:59 pm Central Time.
  3. Winning designer agrees to allow BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters (Boosters) the use of their design, free of charge, for any and all printing and promotional purposes.

Required Design Components

  1. Theme: Design theme must include “BASIS San Antonio Northeast Campus“
  2. Colors: Design can use up to two (2) colors, including black and white. Color code for the BASIS San Antonio Northeast Green is:
    • RGB: R96, G162, B67
    • CMYK: C68, M15, Y100, K2
    • Pantone: 362C
  3. Typefaces: font used in design should be easily readable from a distance
  4. Design Software: Designs must be created in either Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), or Canva. Designs created using t-shirt design websites like, Bonfire, CafePress, and Zazzle will NOT be accepted.

How Winner is Selected

Designs will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Originality
  • Visibility – Is it eye catching and visible from a distance
  • Does it coincide with the mission of BASIS San Antonio Northeast 
  • Feasibility – Must be easy to reproduce

One winning design will be selected and placed on the front of the official 2024 BASIS San Antonio Northeast Spring Spirit T-shirt. (Please note: t-shirt color is to be determined by the Boosters.) 

Fine Print

By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants to the BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters materials. The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters and BASIS San Antonio Northeast Campus from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection with the BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters’ use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design. No submissions will be returned.

The winner of the BASIS San Antonio Northeast Boosters Spring Merchandise T-shirt Contest will receive ONE YOUTH t-shirt for FREE. Please confirm your preferred t-shirt size in the cases of your design is selected as the final winner.
